Fundamentals of Improv
Introductory Level
8-Week Classes

Explore the fundamentals of improvisation through this exciting program which is geared for those with little or no acting or improvisation experience. It's a great way to explore your creativity, hone presentation skills, explore spontaneity, work without a script, and become more confident and comfortable speaking in front of others. Students will learn the basic functions of an improvised scene by creating characters and relationships while being in “the moment”, they will learn to trust their instincts by developing the art of “yes and-ing” your scene partner, explore different forms and styles as well as techniques, learn to think on your feet and expand team building skills; all while having fun once a week in a safe, non-judgmental environment.

The introductory Level is the first of three class levels in the Fundamentals of Improv program. Each class meets once a week for an eight-week term.
